The "BEE TREE" Fun Run was a smashing success with volunteer teacher Mrs. Foley leading the way as the BEE!
"FiFi the Clown" with some of her masterpieces!
Horse power was the mode of transportation for the day. Shown here is Jacob as he heads a team of his Uncle's Percheron while passengers get on and off the wagon.
These happy kids sold lemonade and freezie pops raising over $200.00 for the "Make A Wish" Foundation!
"Lark the Clown" folded balloons into every shape imaginable and paused for a smile with this decorated Meteor Festival visitor.

Oh my gosh, if you read this Ms. Polacco I proably would cry. You are my favorite author in the whole wide world, and I talk about you all the time at school people get annoyed. I did my first book report on you, and my favorite book you have made is Thank You Mr. Falker. I hope too see you in person one day. I am your number one fan so I own a lot of your books. I will make sure to see you in person one day maybe in a year or maybe in two-hundred. See you then, and I will introduce myself.
Love,
Meredith

Hi my name is Kristen,I am in grade 4. We are doing a author study on you and your books. My favourite book is Babushka's Doll. I like it because it teaches you not to be demanding and saucy to others.
You write really good books and a good illustrator too.
Your unknown friend,
Kristen

Hello Patricia, I just want to say that you bring life into reading. When I read Babushka's Doll I found myself at my Grandmothers farm in Michigan. Tagging behind her apron strings asking what are we going to do now? Patiently (impatiently) waiting to see what wonderful dinner she would make for the night.Ther were six of us in seven years so my grandmother would've liked to borrow your Babushka's doll. Thank you for bringing back beautiful memories.
I love all the books that I have read. I look forward to reading them all.
